Pop-Up Exhibition at the University of Cincinnati
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Luscinia Historical Society is proud to announce a pop-up exhibition of artifacts from our various collections occurring from March 23 - 27, 2026. A reception will be held Thursday, March 26 from 4-6 PM featuring live readings from the Bordeaux Oracle Deck, tours with our Archivist Neil Daigle Orians, and light refreshments.
The exhibition features:
Research from Collaborative Archival Assistant Emma Lane on the “pink-out” poetry work of Gabby Bucer
Prints by Everitt Reed, reprinted by River Kirby using the original plates and notes on their colors and compositions
Drawings by Sarah Chou, discovered in the Enosi Archives and analyzed by Kara Yeomans
Objects by Marco di Gatti and Imogen Naughton, former Pink Acolytes from the Pink Acolyte Union, artwork by current Pink Acolyte Endeeyoh, as well as recreations of various PAU ephemera
Paintings and the Oracle Deck from Henri Bordeaux
The entirety of the Azimuth Collection
“Truly, the Collaborative Assistants are the heart of this groundbreaking exhibition, and all of their hard work and dedication should be celebrated,” said Archivist, Outreach Coordinator, and Field Researcher Neil Daigle Orians. “Emma’s help deciphering Bordeaux’s oracle deck was absolutely necessary, River’s discovery of Reed’s work highlighted a lesser known eco-conscious aspect of the Pink Acolyte Union, and Kara completely reframed how we understand various sightings of the Terrifying Pink Thing as it appears to shift according to the witness’s cultural background. Truly, I am heavily impressed by their work.”
Adding to this, Executive Director Shannon Zamir stated, “this first experiment into our newly founded Education and Outreach Programming will hopefully lead to greater investigations into paranormal and spiritualist pasts, presents, and futures.”
The exhibition will be viewable from 9-5 daily in the Tabula Rasa Gallery, located on the 5th floor of the College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning. 342 Clifton Ct, Cincinnati, OH 45221. Documentation of the exhibition will be posted on the Luscinia Historical Society website.
